what modem do you have?
what firmware is on the router?
Are you using qos on the router?

Currently I use a modem that is provided by CenturyLink internet provider. As far as I know my r7450 is up to date on the newest firmware. I believe I have qos setup. I have my gaming pc set to the highest priority and all the other devices in my home set to the normal.

got it. Is it actually "a modem", or is it a modem+router?If your (unspecified) "a modem" is actually a modem+router, then why
are you using an R7450 with it? Do you have client devices connected
directly to your (unspecified) "a modem"?

- Ajdhn2Apr 13, 2021AspirantThe model number for my modem is C1100z. Zyxel is probably the maker of this modem. The modem does have routing capabilities but I currently have that disabled and have the r7450 nighthawk router doing that job. I'm not sure what you mean by client devices?
