plemans sorry that it took me so long to respond. None of the tftp stuff has work, could you give me some insight as to how to do the nmrpflash. Thanks in advance for your help.

it has instructions on it that walk you through pretty much the whole thing as well as troubleshooting. where are you failing in the process?

I rarely need to use nmrpflash but it doesn't look like all your commands are written correctly.
did you scroll down and go through the "using nmrpflash" on the site? did you change the name of your firmware as well?
You need to follow things to the letter on there.

plemans is there a way that I can check to see if my laptop is communicating with my router? Every time I try the tftp route this is what I get:
