R7800 - setting up multiple SSIDs
I looked in the R7800 user guide but couldn't seem to find a way to setup multiple SSIDs. How do I do this? Thanks Mike

Specifically how many are you talking about?
You can have a seperate SSID for the primary 2.4 GHz band and for the primary 5 GHz band. Then you can have a seperate SSID for the guest 2.4 GHz band and the guest 5 GHz band. Once you get to four, that is it.

I only need 1 separate. Now that I know it can be done, I'll look at the manual more closely. Thanks!

I couldn't find info on creating multiple SSIDs in the R7800 manual. How can I create another SSID?
TIA

Why do you want to?

What he might have meant was that the 2.4GHz radio and the 5GHz radio
can have different SSIDs (different from each other). For the 2.4GHz radio, you can have one normal SSID and, optionally,
one "guest" SSID.For the 5GHz radio, you can have one normal SSID and, optionally,
one "guest" SSID.You can't have multiple normal SSIDs for either radio. At least not
with the Netgear firmware. If you can find third-party firmware for
your model, then you might find more features.- infaelJun 01, 2021Aspirant
I got a smart fridge. I've ead that setting up a separate SSID is one security measure I can take for the fridge.
