r7800 fw 1.0.2.90 update now won’t connect to the internet

Also. I can confirm I do have Internet access going straight to the modem
what modem is it?
- Comcast x1 gateway.
- Also I just checked the modem and it is in bridge mode so it is allowing the router to handle the addressing.
Have you tried the x1 in router mode and the R7800 in AP mode?
- I have not. I can do that definitely. I would just like to get to the bottom of why the current setup is no longer working after the firmware upgrade.
This same setup hardware and configuration has been running flawlessly for a long time now. It’s just confusing. I wonder if I should downgrade the firmware manually?
