Where do you see this? Windows?
The R7800 hasn't caused me any problems on that front. But mine is now in AP mode, simply to give me ReadyShare.

Connections to the drives fail on MacOS, IOS, Android and Windows platforms. I connect to the router, update the admin password to the same value and I am subsequently able to connect to the drives from all devices.
I do not have to update any configurations other than the admin password to restore connectivity. I recall reading some time ago that it was necessary to update the admin password after adding a new drive and securing it with the admin password. It seems like ReadyShare configuration reverts to this initial state periodically. When it first happened, I updated with a new password and changed the connection credentials on all my devices until I realized I can just update the password to itself to resolve the issue. Still very annoying when it happens.

Do you really need to password protect the USB drives? I don't.

Appreciate the response. I will consider your suggestion..
Since support for my router has expired, I posted here in to get confirmation that this behavior was a bug and was being addressed.
