It seems that everytime my kids use an old Samsung tablet and it connects my router reboots. How is this possible? And how can I avoid this?

What Firmware version is loaded on the router?
Does it reboot if you connect the tablet to the Guest Network?
How is the Wireless settings configured on the router?
