That's one of the hazards of using those "AC" labels.
AC3000 and AC3200 are not reliable guides to model numbers. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
So stick with the R7850 as the model number and you'll be fine.

First of all, thanks for responding. So then the R7850 Nighthawk AC3000 Router is the same as the R7850 Nighthawk AC3200 Router? I downloaded the 1.0.5.64 firmware and installed it. Then I did a factory reset and a fresh install of my router. Everything is up and running. Time will tell if this makes any difference. Thanks again for your advice.
