On that device is should be 32 devices per band.
but you can always add an extender and connect some to that.
Or a cheap single band router and set it up in access point mode and connect some to that.

Thank you, Plemans.
- Dual-band WiFi 5 routers: At least 50 client devices
- Single-band WiFi 5 routers: At least 32 client devices
Interestingly enough my router is a Tri-Band WiFi 5. So maybe less per band. Regardless I think your options are a possibility.
Do you have any experience with Smart Connect—Same WiFi network name on 2.4 & 5GHz for automatic band selection?
I'm wondering if doing this would fix my issue. Let the router handle what band works best for each device. I'm thinking of using smart connect first to see what happens and then using an extender.Thank you again.

Smart Connect is horribly broken on NETGEAR routers. I wouldn't recommend it.

I initially started out hating smart connect. As time has went on, I've learned to appreciate it. But I have my higher bandwidth devices (4k tv's, gaming pc) all hardwired in. Its easier for the family/friends as they don't have to worry about which band to connect to.
