r7900 not working with nighthawk app cant log in
hello, i have r7900 router. today i installed the nighthawk app. I was able to get it set up and was able to see my router and manage it. during the course of the installation netgear armor was installed and is now running on all of my connected devices in a trial mode. I upgraded firmware on the router (as was suggested it was available). I then installed a mesh extended which i also see in the nighthawk app. later today i can not no longer log into my router from the nighthawk app. It detects it however when it presents me to log in with my router credentials it simply takes a few moments and comes back to the login screen. never entering the app. when i look at the wifi extended in the app i can see my router listed along with it but cannot do anything to manage it. the router is out of warranty, if that makes a difference. but i now cannot even look at or stop the netgear armor that has been set up on my devices because it has to be done through the app. this is all very frustrating and netgear should really do much better. any advice would be appreciate. impossible to get netgear support and i am not paying them to support their horribly designed app. thank you.

What is that Mesh extender?
What firmware version do you have on the R7900 device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting. The browser graphical user interface (GUI) is a better way to manage a router than a wifi app. Did you find this?
Is there an "off" toggle in there?
