R7960P Firmware not updating Class Action Lawsuit

I have been having the typical Netgear experiance, purchased the Nighthawk R7960P to replace the R8000 that was having connectivity issues after firmware updates. Now the R7960P is stuck at firmware V1.4.1.50_1.3.10 I can not update to newer versions or roll it back to an older version to jump past the version it is stuck on. I have tried everything within the community forum, update from app, manual update, auto update, etc.

My question is. Has anyone looked into starting a class action lawsuite. I would think it could have a case, netgear pushes out firmware that causes issues then refuses service because the device is out of warranty. This has simularitys to what apple did with there batteries.

I would be interested to hear people interest or objections.
