Question

I just installed this router and after finally getting it set up I accidentally unplugged it and when it came back up everything went back to the factory settings and now I can't get it to connect. Is this router worth it or sounds like I just need to get another router. Any suggestions? Thanks

Download the FW file(S) first to you PC and use this to manual FW updating:

You'll be needing a web browser. I recommend MS Edge or Firefox.&nbsp;

Is this a new router or something you just drug out of a closet? (because its fairly old)
What firmware version is on it?&nbsp;

It was given to us because they never installed it. So, yes it is an older router but this is the first time it has been used.&nbsp; I ended up just starting over and reinstalling it and so far so good. I'm just wondering if every time it is disconnected am I going to have to start from scratch to install it?&nbsp; All prior routers came back up with no issues. I am able to update it through the app.&nbsp;

You may want to get FW update on the router.

I'm supposed to be able to do that through the app but when I check for updates I get an error message saying "There was a problem checking the firmware".&nbsp; But it shows I am connected to the router so any suggestions as to why this is happening and is there another way to update it?&nbsp; I know just enough about electronics to do what I need to but am by no means a professional at it. Thanks
