from the downgraded version. Once downgraded, then do the factory reset/reinstall. Reason why is old settings can cause issues when switching between firmwares.

Hi Plemans
The router is connected to a Virgin media 3.0 hub running in modem mode.
I assume you mean do a factory reset first and then update firmware via a hard wired connection?

install that version of firmware, then do the factory reset and clean install
- YanlismanFeb 07, 2021Guide
Factory reset and firmware updated to latest but no change.
Unable to maintain a connection on either 2.5 or 5, or combined.
Only the guest network works and holds a connection on 2.4.
Hard wired Ethernet connections also fine - 110Mbs
The logs are a bit odd, it seems that the firmware resets the time back to Dec 21st 2020
and then the time gets re-sync'd (read bottom up):

not to the latest. to version 1.0.4.28
- YanlismanFeb 07, 2021Guide
Ah, 1.0.4.28
Where can I get that from? I can only see the latest version on the downloads tab
The reset that I've just undertook (an hour or so ago) automatically picked up the latest - so how do you prevent that when factory resetting? I assume I have to disconnect from the modem and then what - hard wired from where and how?
