Hi,
thankl you very much for all your answers.
I managed to do a reset and managed to update the firmware.
The way it worked : just wiring an ethernet cable between 1 of the 4 eth port and my laptop.
I accessed the router with 192.168.1.1
Now I can configure it.
Once again thank you very much for all your help.

If it has been some time since the router was connected to power and in use, it may take a couple of times to get the firmware default (factory) reset to complete thoroughly.
No need to connect your router to another device. Set it on a desk and connect only the power cord for reset and configuration. After the reset, use the default SSID and password printed on the nameplate to connect over Wi-Fi. Check your computer to verify what IP address it has connected to. Use that address to enter the configuration page from your web browser.
Once you have set the mode as access point, save the changes and power down your R8000. Pull the power cord.
Now use an Ethernet cord and connect the WAN port of your R8000 to a LAN port on your primary router. Power up your R8000 and it will connect to your primary router with an IP address assigned by your primary router.
Check the connected devices on your primary router to determine what IP address was assigned to your access point (R8000). Use that IP address to log in to the configuration page of your access point.

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
