R8000 bricked

I have attempted tftp & nmrpflash numerous times but there were never any "flashing light" moment.. is the router certified gone? Thanks..

    sounds like its truly bricked. You could always try the serial port method of recovering it but I'm not sure how much more time/$ I'd invest in it.

You're right, I've borrowed a different adaptor with the same input output to test, and the result was the same 😞
