R8000 Firmware will not update

Router firmware will not update. current version 1.0.3.32_1.1.21 new version downloaded R8000-V1.0.3.48_1.1.33.chk. I used a hardwire connection directly connected to router. Never updates, the admin...

    I was using the GUI. It never would install the fw. So I reset to factory. Then it allowed me to install the fw. Then I restored from backup. All works well now. Thanks for the help
