R8000 wtf is going on

So I recently moved and upgraded to gig service. Spectrum tests it from their modem and gets 1.04gb.

I test from my router interface and I’m getting like 270. Most I’ve seen is 400. And that’s only once.

I tried to disable QOS and adjust the bandwidth manually and it didn’t do anything.

I’ve defaulted my modem and it’s not done anything either.

Im starting to thing this nighthawk is toast. Which is going to make me pretty mad.

Anyone have any suggestions?

What "router interface"? Web browser and graphical user interface (GUI)?

Tested how? If it is over WiFi, that's to be expected for most WiFi clients.

    What is that modem?

If this router was already in action on a different Internet service, did you reset it or take it through the Internet Setup Wizard to introduce it to the new service and its settings.

The R8000 isn't quite one of the SMART Wi-Fi, General and Legacy Routers.

Try here for more on that router:

did you try factory resetting the R8000? (Not the modem).

During the reinstall, leave qos, access control, parental controls, and traffic monitoring all disabled. don't use a backup during the reinstall.
