Have had about 4 years now. All of a sudden my wifi stopped working but I am hardwired still. Does the wifi just go out in these and is it time to replace?

    A little more details help.

    1. what are the wifi led's on the router showing? (color/blinking/on or off/etc)

    2. what firmware is on the router?

    3. did the wifi on/off button get hit? push and hold it for 2 seconds

    4. For some reason did the ssid broadcast get disabled? you can check in the settings

try unplugging your router for 20 seconds and back on and see if the wifi comes back. If not I would try to do a hard reset by pressing the reset pinhole with a paper clip for 30 seconds while its powered on. It will put it back to factory default, see if one of those 2 options brings back the wifi.
