What device are you connecting it to?
Did you check with your isp? many people on here use PPPoE without issues

It happen the same thing with the other Netgear router back home in Romania

I will re check the login details again to be sure

What media converter/gateway are you plugging it into?
Have you checked with your ISP? Some require you to use their device.
Usually there's a workaround if thats the case but it usually involves a bit of research about your isp/gateway to figure out exactly what steps are needed

Is a standard fibre to ethernet converter
My ISP doesn'r require to use their router, which is not bad
I also checed the credentials and are OK
Netgear is the only one type of router that I have these problems
Here are the settings :
Connection details
Connection Type: 1Gb/s Ethernet WAN connection to the ONT (CAT5e/6 cable required)
Authentication Type: PPPoE
PPPoE Encryption: PAP [sometimes not needed] (not available on router)
PPPoE service name: [leave blank]
PPPoE username: view in customer portal
PPPoE password: view in customer portal
MTU 1500 Bytes: [sometimes not needed] (although you may need 1492 Bytes.)
Assigned IP addresses (Your public IPv4, DNS, default gateway): Your public IPv4 can be viewed in customer portal. PPPoE should automatically assign your public IPv4, DNS, default gateway IPs. If you need to enter our DNS servers manually, they are:- Primary DNS: 37.48.224.26
- Secondary DNS: 185.102.149.13
These DNS servers are only accessible form within the Giganet network.
VLAN ID: Openreach Full Fibre: untagged/ not applicable. CityFibre Full Fibre: 911(setting not available on router)

Are you openreach full fibre?
If so, do a little googling, it might just take a different setting for your ISP.I found several results on changes that can be made using that ISP
