R8000P dropping connection (mostly WIFI)
I have spectrum Internet and a R8000P router. The WIFI has been dropping which required a reboot to correct....Sometimes several time a day. Firmware Version - V1.4.4.94_1.3.56 I am not sure...

If that is the modem, then it seems to be a standard modem only device. Hard to tell with that information.
You original description was a bit thin on detail.
The WIFI has been dropping which required a reboot to correct..
What does "dropping" mean?
The wifi LED goes off? Wifi clients can't see the wifi? They can see it but can't connect? Any error messages?
Do wired device still work?
Any local wifi interference?
Have you tried changing the wifi channel?
Do the logs for the router offer any clues?

WIFI communication is lost. Devices lose the ability access internet. No error messages. The wired devices also lose connection.
The only thing that corrects this is rebooting the router and sometime the Spectrum Modem (rare).
Have you tried changing the wifi channel?
Not sure how/why to do this, but wired also goes out
Do the logs for the router offer any clues?
No

Ah, that is an important detail missing from your first message.
You didn't answer the bit about the wifi LED. What hap[pens to that during these interruptions.
What about the other LEDs? Internet?
You say that a modem reboot fixes it, have you ruled out the modem as the source of the problem? Does it have an LED to check its stratus during this dropouts?
