That's good. You modem is behaving itself.
Now reset the router and add it back, restarting the network as specified.
You could also see if you can update the firmware while the router is offline. You don't need an Internet connection to do that.

Followed the reboot sequence new firmware would not take. Tried again with no internet and still no success.
Speeds while wired in seem to be ok around 500 to 600 MBPS, but wifi is where things slow down. I am also haveing issues connecting to wifi. I have run tests on both 5g bands with my pc and cell phones neither are good or where they used to be.
