R8500 Boot Loop
So, my NightHawk is now boot looping and I can't seem to fix it. What I've tried:
- 30-30-30 - Nope
- TFTP Firmware downgrade - Nope
- nmrpflash - Nope
30-30-30 did nothing. TFTP could not connect (block #0). I did manage to flash two different firmwares (latest and older) using nmrpflash, but after reboot, same issue.
I know it's an older router now, but that shouldn't matter. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Does this mean that it never reaches a steady state so that you can see what the LEDs look like? If not, then you don't know if the router has corrupt firmware. Playing around with TFTP and the like could do more harm than good.
Have you checked that the power supply to the R8500 is still good? Do you have al alternative lying around that you could try?

Dead right there. Five years may seem like ages in computer terms, but I can't see why something should die that quickly.
