R900 security updates took me from 400-600mbps up/down to ~3mbps down 0.1 up - firmware V1.0.5.40
About a week or two ago I saw there was an security update for my router. It had done a bigger update automatically maybe a month ago but this last one just ruined my network speeds. Firmware V1....
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What devices are you using to speed test with?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

- The long power down helped, I was too impatient originally. Back to 500mbos up/down. Really glad I don't need to wipe and redo all the rules/reservations/etc. Thank you!!
If it happens again, would be good to know what ISP modem you have.
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Enjoy. 📡Its a AT&T branded 5268AC Gateway. I don't have it set up to bridge because it never seemed to work. Also never figured out plugging the fiber directly into the R9000.
