R9000 — Nighthawk X10
I get a download speed of around 600Mbps from the wired connection to my computer, but sitting in the same room as the router and using the Metoer App to check the 5.0 channel I'm only hitting in the 90's Mbps. Is that normal to have that much of a difference in the wired and WiFi speed? Is there some setting I might not have set right? Rebooting router did nothing.
It's a R9000 X10 AD7200

Yes. Wifi speeds are down to the clients you use and the technology in your router.
Do these wifi clients go a lot faster anywhere else?
It might be worth a bit of background reading.

Firmware is Voxhell V1.0.4.55HF I just updated it, but no change in WiFi speed to non Cat cable wired computers.
I'm with Comcast, but the modem is mine. Arris Surfboard S33. Just bought it a few weeks ago. It really upped the Cat cable connect computer speed. I was getting around 400Mbps and now sometimes I get over 800 Mbps.
