R9000 Open VPN assigns differnt IP to home network
Hi im new to running my own VPN, and a novice with networking. everthing is set up and working, open vpn on my phone connects and i can browse the internet fine. but i can not see my local network. O...

How did you get 192.168.0.X on the R9000? By default your router goes for 192.168.1.X with 192.168.1.1 as its own IP address in the network.
It will pick something else only if it see a squatter using 192.168.1.1. It first choice for a local address is usually 10.x.x.x.
Modem/routers default to 192.168.0.1
What modem/router/ONT sits between the R9000 and the Internet?

I manualy set the LAN ip range when i set up the router.
Modem is supplied by NBN we have no access to it

Why? If the VPN installation expects to see a router with the default configuration that could explain things.

Yes, but you should know what it is. Most devices have a label on the side.
If this is NBN, you are in alien territory. NBN is not an ISP so much as the Australian nationwide implementation for broadband. ISPs have different ways of delivering the Internet. How does it get to you? DSL? Cable? FTTC?

Sometimes known elsewhere as FTTP.
In that case it isn't really a modem, more an optical network termination (ONT).
