r9000 port forwarding
hello I'm having trouble forwarding ports on a r9000 I'm trying to forward ports for Nvidia game stream I've gone through the steps to manually forward the ports and have even shut off any firewals t...

turns out it might have either been a bug with my windows 10 install or even the nvidia software it self I reinstalled windows along with the Nvidia Geforce software and it worked thanks for the help

It sounds plausible, although copy+paste of the actual
port-forwarding rules table would be more trustworthy than your
description.

One potentially useful tool would be the Telnet client which is built
into Windows:
Settings > Apps > (Related settings) Programs and Features >
Turn Windows features on or off : Telnet Client
Once enabled, this can be used to test a (TCP) connection to the
server/port of your choice:
telnet <server_IP_address> <port>
If anyone is listening at that port, then the Telnet client should
connect. If that works when using the server's LAN IP address, then try
the router's WAN IP address (from within the LAN). (This depends on a
router feature, "NAT loopback", which should work.)

Reassure me. What are the first two octets of that public IP address
("a.b" out of "a.b.c.d")?
