RAX45 Can't disable Anywhere Access Remote Management
Nighthawk RAX45-100NAS AX4300 AX6 Nighthawk, Firmware V1.0.5.106_2.0.70
Why is there no option to disable Anywhere Access (Remote Management) in the Web Management portal (routerlogin.net)? I can disable Anywhere Access in the Nighthawk app (which breaks the app BTW), but the setting only seems to be saved in the app, since it's magically re-enabled each time I reinstall the app. For security reasons, I'd rather that my router wasn't continually polling the Netgear cloud to check if there's any management scripts to run.
Perhaps there's some Netgear cloud IP address I could block?

You can disable that by using the Nighthawk App under Settings.

Thank you.The Anywhere Access setting doesn't seem to be saved in the router, since it's re-enabled whenever I reinstall the app. Once my router is installed & configured, I'd like Remote Management to be completely disabled. I'm sure that the Netgear Cloud is very secure, but security patches are in every code release so why risk leaving this door open...
