RAX48 wifi channel changed
I set the 5GHz channel to 36. After a month, I scan nearby wifi and found out my wifi is on channel 149.
I logged in to my router and it is still showing 5GHz on channel 36.
Can you explain what's happened? 149 is a congested channel in my area.

What are you using for wifi scanning?
Got a screen snip?
What do the actual devices connected to it show when you pull up their wifi specifics?

I am using macbook wireless diagnostics to scan wifi.
The wifi channel is also showing channel 149 when macbook is connected to the 5GHz wifi.

For your future needs, Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk RAX WiFi 6 Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NH router products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
