RBR50: no wifi, no top light, power LED solid green
My 13-month-old RBR50 router stopped working yesterday. It started working intermittently while I was streaming a movie, then suddenly stopped working completely. So I turned it off and on, and now it appears to be bricked: no wifi, no top light, and the power LED is solid green. I tried factory reset, but nothing happened after 30+ seconds of keeping the reset switch pushed.
I looked in the discussion forum and found a link to this support article: How to upload firmware to a NETGEAR router using TFTP client?
However, my laptop doesn't detect a link on the ethernet cable when directly connected to the router. I suspect that the router is completely dead, but before giving up I thought about asking if there's anything else I can try.

I wouldn't say "completely dead" if you got any LED activity, but it
does sound as if it's completely useless.> [...] I tried factory reset, but nothing happened after 30+ seconds of

Nothing leaps to mind, other than verifying that the power adapter is
doing its job.
