Netgear R8000P Router Traffic Meter
Why am I not seeing any number in this field on my router? I'm trying to figure out which device is pulling the data spikes during the day.

those fields are the actual bandwidth in use. Not the traffic monitor.

Then why does it only show zeros?

because they're not currently downloading/uploading?
Many programs download/upload in bursts. For example, if you're streaming video, usually it downloads as fast as it can until it buffers a set period, and the stops for a period and then downloads a burst again. Most devices are like this and aren't constantly downloading/uploading unless they're moving a massive file. Even a webpage isn't a whole lot of data and can be downloaded pretty quickly.

Yeah, it's like this all day. No movement at all and I've tried to make it move. When I download anything they stay at zeros. Figures it doesn't work.

Not sure as I don't have that model but when the pages loads, thats when it shows the connection. So if you didn't have anything active when the page loads, it'll show 000's. If you're actively moving a large file when you load that page, it should show.
