I checked my R7000 today and I can access the Advanced Tab and pages fine: MS Edge
No modification of the web page code either from the console. Though I do notice same code you found. Another item I found is a title listing for a WNDR3400 in the code. Found that kind of odd.
From your screenshot, I see that you don't have any percentage bars in the admin page. How strange. I'm wondering if you had missed any updates on R7000? Did you keep a record of your update sequence?
I had been running the Merlin FW since 2016 when I bought the router. Until a couple of months ago, my r7000 started to randomly reboot every 3-4 days, flashing back to the stock FW (from V1.0.3.24_1.1.20 to V128) fixed the problem. 0 spontaneous reboots after that. I still had the cpu percentage bar on v128. It could be missing some of the FW in between causing the GUI issue.
What percentage bars are you referring to? Please post a screen capture of this. As far as I know there hasn't been any percentage bars on this page whatsoever on stock NG FW.
Merlin FW on the R7000? Do you mean the ASUSMerlin 3rd party FW? That's a completely different FW and UI and not officially supported here.
This router has only run stock and was given to me a couple of years ago as my work didn't need it anymore and phased stuff out so I took it home. I believe it had a v.30ish something when I got it. I loaded it up with what was available back then. I had v.34 loaded on it last year I believe then decided to jump to most current and see if any problems are seen. So far, when i had the router running, ran great. No issues. The only issue is with the NH app can't get logged in. Something I passed to NG for review.
I am talking about the RAM and CPU percentage bar. You can find the screenshot at message#20 in this thread. If I remember correctly, I did had those even before flashing Merlin. I understand that 3rd party FW is unsupported here, but now that I'm back to the stock FW, I feel like I can be supported. Anyway thanks for the detailed description.
Ok, wondering if that was a feature in early FW and was removed in recent. I'll check the debug page on mine however I presume it's not there.
