R7000 Firmware Updates from v1.0.7.12
Hi, I recently found my Nighthawk R7000 router and I'd like to use it again. It's current firmware version is 1.0.7.12, and I'd like to know if the updates are cumalative and I can just download...

devices. Presumably the (usually worthless) Release Notes would say
something if it were.I'd run the experiment. I'd also do a settings reset after after any
big-jump update (because of my great faith in Netgear router firmware).

antinodeThanks for the reply, I've never encountered stepped firmware updates on routers before either but maybe because I've recently been updating my NAS firmware I thought I'd better check in case I bricked it.
I updated it to 1.0.11.100 and the hotfix this morning and touch wood - all seems good :)

It has happened, but rarely. The Orbi system went through it once, when there had to be an intermediate update to get around a memory issue of some sort.
