Glad you're back up. Your experience makes me wonder how many other random R7000 problems might be due to corrupted FW. You would expect NG validates the FW after its installed. I'm soooo tired of this R7000. Anybody tuned in here have a suggestion what to replace it with?

Well I've finally made my choice and I've bought a TP-Link AX6600 GX90 to replace my R7000. I'm waiting for it to arrive. Expensive, but now my Wife works permanently from home, I thought I'd try a Tri-band router. I already have a WiFi 6 enabled desktop computer, so I should once I get the new router up and running, be able to at least take advantage of it's compatibility with the new router. I have fibre to the premises straight through an ONT, no copper lines anywhere.
