R7000 Wrong Date/Time after firmware update

I tried all the options given on different forums but no luck. Netgear support gave me beta V1.0.5.49_20151208_timesync firmware which fixed the issue.

Well that wasn't any good sending in a ticket as I'm well out of the 90 days free support. They say about getting a hardware check done by them but I doubt that would help as several of us have the same problem after updating the firmware. They suggest I get Gearhead Premium Services but that would cost an arm and a leg in call charges from the UK, so I guess I'll just have to wait till the next firmware update.
Let's see whether I can help you with your router. When I was trying to solve the problem which was happening to my router I tried many old version until find a version which would fix Date/Time issues. If you don't want the most updated router's functionalities you likely can fix it uploading the FW version R7000-V1.0.3.80-1.1.38. Please try to do that and then tell me what happened.
