R7000p incorrect password, and “already registered” error message
Hi, I bought a used Nighthawk router. I have factory reset it. It still gives an “incorrect password” message when i use the password on the back of device. How do i fix this? Also, i cant registe...

Disconnect the router from the ISP Modem or ONT.
Press the reset button for 15 seconds then release.
Be sure to clear out all browser caches and saved password profiles before going to 192.168.1.1.
Try a different browser.
Walk thru the setup wizard at 192.168.1.1.

I bought the router used. So it is registered to some other account. I need to know how to register it to my account. I cant re-register it because i never registered it in the first place.

That is not necessary to set up and use the R7000P.
