Re-register a used device

I purchased a used WAC124 on eBay and cannot login because it says "This WAC124 is not registred for the current user, please login with the registred user.". How do I get this unit moved over to me? I have been able to configure the device by disconnecting it from the internet and it gives me a local login. However, this is not a workable solution going forward.

Thanks but I already had the manual and it doesn't help. The manual is written for a new user that has registered hie router with Netgear. I am the second user and do not know the User Name/Password that the device is registered with. I need to get it registered to my account.

When looking for a manual for a Netgear device, rather than start at
some third-party web site, I'd suggest starting at the Netgear support
        site:

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
        for Documentation.

If that fails, _then_ I'd start a broader Web search.

Have you tried contacting Netgear support?  Or looking/asking on the
        appropriate forum?:

A while ago, when questions about that device first started appearing
here, I took a quick look at its User Manual, saw that it was almost
useless on its own, and decided that I was unlikely ever to buy one.
