Read cfg file
Have the below stated router. Had to do a factory reset on it as it kept dropping out ever 10-20 minutes, and/or web interface became unusable. Factory reset seems to have fixed the problem, but ...

With some models, the ".cfg" file is (mostly) plain text, and reading
it can provide useful hints regarding the settings. For models where
the ".cfg" file looks like noise, I'm unaware of a way to decode it.

I thought that where we enter the model info and it comes up automatically is supposed to make it easier. Otherwise why have it there at all. Anyway, my apologies, I will know for future reference. :)
And thanks for the reply. Yeah, it;s kinda what I thought, It's not plain text, that would have been easy! Anyway, thanks again for taking the time.
