1. What is the model number and firmware version of the router?
2. Have you tried the other USB port (if applicable)?
3. Does the 4TB drive have a separate power adapter?
4. Does the USB LED light up on the router if the drive is connected?
5. What is the file format of the drive?
6. Have you tried partitioning the drive into smaller capacities?

NO I am not as I returned the drive. I don't have the time or the patience to debug all these problems. I had 1 that worked I figured the second was a no brainer. Apparently there is SOME difference in the drives but I don't have the time for this
