Red Light Router/Motem - no internet connectivity problem

To be more specific with the last thread I posted, my roommate and I just noticed yesterday the red light by the icon on the motem/router (see picture in previous post). We tried unplugging everything and restarting the router and modem but it is still not connecting to internet. Can someone help me out with why there is a red light at that circular icon and a possible solution to fixing the issue?

    Hard to tell, given the lack of information you have provided. We don't even know what you own.


    Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
    Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
    Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

    They are there for a good reason.
