Removing dd-wrt firmware and restoring to factory condition
Hi, I have a Nighthawk R8000 which I bought with DD-Wrt firmware installed. I would like to remove that firmware and restore to a factory configuration. I might have messed things up. I selected the Factory Restore option, it downloaded some firmware and rebooted. Now, I can't access the router at all. It is attached to a Cable Modem provided by my internet provider and I have found it with an IP but when I try to access it no luck.
Any suggestions?

It can be useful if your internet speed is slow and you need a device to have more of your service but for most people with 1 gb high speed internet service your wifi devices limit the speed of you wifi. Since the fastest speed is 1gb and the speed of most routers 5ghz band is 1.3 gb qos is useless the 2.4 ghz band may see some help with its speed but still limited to 600mb on most routers.

Hi Herbert323,
If you want to use the official firmware for R8000, you may download it on the link below.

For loading the firmware via TFTP since the router is unaccessible, you may check this article.
