re new Nighthawk D7000 Problem 1 It arrived yesterday. Was setting it up with my internet provider. There was a problem so she asked me to reset it. I tried & tried but it appears to not be work...

A manual update is usually better than anything over wifi or any automated process.

Which ISP is this? You might also find guidance on how to set up with them around here. But you'll have more luck tracking down messages about the D7000 – the hardware version isn't usually that important as long as you get the correct firmware for your device – in the right section.
