Reset R8000 and password does not work as the default password

I moved and am sertting up the R8000.  I reset using the reset button, but the system is not recognizing "password" as the password.  Any ideas?  Thanks

    When many hit the reset, they just click it. 

    Make sure the device is fully powered on, then push and hold it for up to 15 seconds. 

    also, make sure while installing that password managers are disabled. I've seen them overwrite passwords. 

    and its all lower case.
