Trying to reset router remotely. I have password but when I enter admin and the password it takes me to a screen asking for the router serial number not to a reset option. I dont have the serial #...

"Trying" _how_, exactly? Why? Did it stop working properly?

"enter admin and the password" into _what_? What, exactly, are you
doing, from what, where, connected to what, how?
Generally, these routers ask for a serial number as part of a
password-recovery scheme (which does not always work). Which suggests
that you're providing a bad password.

Using Nighthawk app on phone was trying to access my R7000.
I am at a remote location on T-Mobil network not home wo-fi.
Says wifi not detected so I tap connect via anywhere access.
Header comes up says Your Product
below shows pic of router and a red dot next to R7000
Says Disconnected
and list serial # of unit
If I touch the red tot reply at bottom of phone screen says Device is Offline.
Can not do anything else.
