Okay, well, tell me: Is the R7800-V1.0.0.28.img the initial firmware for this router? Every other router I look at states the initial firmware, but the R7800 does not.

All the videos I've seen state that you need the initial firmware to remove dd-wrt from your router. That's the only reason.
