ring doorbell

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my ring doorbell won't connect to my router. I contacted ring. They had me restart my router and doorbell. Neither of those things worked and I had already tried them myself before. The told me to get a different dorrbell and that mine was defective. I got a new doorbell and I am having the same problem. It keeps saying there is an issue with my internet connection. This is confusing becuse other deices use this wifi without issue.

I contacted my ISP, but since I bought my own router they advised me to call netgear. Netgear was ZERO help on the phone. They wanted me to buy a warranty just so I could talk to someone. So, as a last resort, I am posting here to see if anyone has any ideas or has resolved this issues themselves.

Thank you! Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

    You have the c6300?

What phone are you setting it up with?

    which ring doorbell is it?

Are you making sure your devices you're setting the ring up with is on the same wireless signal? (what I mean is that if you're wanting the ring setup on the 2.4ghz, that the phone is connected to 2.4ghz and not 5ghz)

    what error are you getting?
