ISP Modem Model: TM3402A
There are numerous WiFi signals in the area, but all signal strengths pale in comparison to mine.
Every time the router becomes wedged, I power cycle both the router and the cable modem.

Try a factory reset on the router.
Also enable IPv6 on the router as well...

Dang. I've factory reset the thing at least a dozen times now. Thirteenth time's the charm?
IPv6 is already enabled.

Nope. Thirteenth time was most definitely not the charm. Wedged again shortly after reconfiguration, following reset. Thanx.

Would be interesting to see if you disabled all wifi radios on the router to see if the router continued to lock up or not...
Also what CAT# LAN cable is in between the modem and router? CAT6 is recommended.
