That's how it works by default. Why do you want https?
If you insist, try here:

- Advanced setup
- Web Service Management
Be prepared for it to break things.

http is not encrypted so the login passwords are sent clear text. Someone already logged in the WiFi can intercept these packets
I cannot see the web services option. Have they stopped updating the OS for this router ?

- microchip8Apr 13, 2024MasterEnabling HTTPS on the router does not mean it's globally available to the LAN/WiFi. It's only for the router's web interface so login credentials are encrypted.

Try loading Voxels 3rd Party FW.
HTTPS options wasn't a user configuration on the R9000 and is not a requirement. Users have to have LAN side access to do any nefarious things. I've never had HTTPS enabled on other routers that supported it as I'm the only one with access to routers heres.
