Router Firmware Update
I just upgraded my router to the latest firmware and when it was completed, it disconnected me from all devices (12) that is was previously connected to. I went into the router settings (routerlogin....
Thanks for the quick reply, plemans. I thought I had the router set up to perform automatic firmware updates as they come out. Or is that not an option for these ? The way I found out there was an update this morning was when my internet wouldn't connect and during the troubleshooting, I found out. Is there a better way to ensure I don't have any further factory resets ?
Most of them should get auto-updates but they only "force" the critical updates in my experience.
I prefer to do it manually anyway as when we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be either from the auto-updates, updates over the app, or when done over wifi.
If you've already got a backup configuration, that's half the battle.
