2. what firmware is on it?
3. what modem/gateway is it connected to?
4. "not getting full strength". describe this more in details. what speeds are you getting? over 2.4ghz? or the 5ghz?

2.4ghz getting 45-60 mbps

You can add a wireless extender to your home for better coverage. i usually only recommend adding 1 though. If you're needing more than 1, I usually recommend people invest in a mesh system like Orbi or the MK nighthawk as they're designed for multiple satellites.
