Was trying to change Wi-Fi password. Came across routerlogin.dev Stupid me for clicking on the suspicious website and the moment I enter that site, my a/v informed me that it has blocked a connect...
Fortunately, I didn’t stay in that site long enough to find out but that does make sense thanks for the insight! However my a/v did block a potential adware/spamware so it got me thinking if anything else was install into my pc without my permission. Let’s hope my a/v did it’s job correctly and no harm is done.
it’s silly to think the reason why I use google search in the first place is because of avoiding the possibility of typing in the url incorrectly directly which then can lead to a imposter website.
Google delivers a bunch of lookalike websites like to you mentioned which bring me back to square 1. I agreed with you shame on google.
