Router password recovery

I am trying to access parental control and called my internet provider they said to do it right on our router. Am having issues getting past the Router Password Recovery, can anyone help? Does Netgear have a phone number for Canada?

    Not without some information.

     

    What are these "issues"? Did you set up password recovery?

     

    Did you every change the login password for your router's graphical user interface (GUI)?

     

    What Netgear device are you trying to configure?

     

    Apologies for all the questions. But you can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:

     


    Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
    Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
    Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

    They are there for a good reason.

    If this is a new device, then you have 90 days of free support that you can start through the correct channels.

     

    There is no phone support. You do it via the support portal:

    Start here:

    Start a case and, with luck, they will contact you.

     

    If you are outside 90 days, they will try to sell you a support contract. This place is

    free.
